|6:55-7:25||THE BASICSAfter explaining a few Islamic legal maxims relevant to Gender Interaction, the Instructor will commence the first session examining select verses surrounding recommendations Allah has given regarding dress code, lowering of the gaze, protection of one’s private areas followed by defining what is considered shahwah or desire as per Islamic law. The Fiqh of covering one’s nakedness; Awra and seclusion; Khalwa will also be expounded upon which will help clarify many questions including catching a ride with the opposite gender! After clarifying who is considered a Mahram, the session will conclude by clarifying the Fiqh of perfume, makeup, nail polish and dressing up, yes for both brothers and sisters!||Mufti. AbdulMannan|
|7:25-7:55||THE FIQH OF TFDL & MAC HALL
This session will commence explaining the general guidelines for interacting with the opposite sex whilst contextualizing social norms and values. Questions pertaining to gender interaction amid study groups, working on labs and projects, socializing, carrying oneself in a professional environment and saying Salam and asking regarding the well being of the opposite gender will be clarified. The session will conclude discussing personal demeanor, countenance and body language.

|CONTEMPORARY TIMES & SOLUTIONS
This session will begin by answering many questions through both classical and contemporary verdicts and rulings surrounding women travelling without a Mahram, group travel and studying abroad. Thereafter the instructor will highlight the positions surrounding shaking the hands of the opposite gender from cousins and non related uncles and aunties, to job interviews and professional relationships. Questions surrounding the role of sisters from leadership in the community to public speaking will also be discussed, followed by conversing on the topic of women and the workplace. The sitting will conclude clarifying queries regarding choosing a medical career and following Gender Interaction guidelines.

The final session will cover subject matter in relation to the following questions: How to approach a potential spouse? How to keep things HALAL when interested? What do I do if I develop strong feelings for someone? I like her/him! How do I control my interactions and feelings? What are the interaction limits for engaged couples?
